A Humidity-Proof Routine for Frizz-Prone Hair

Frizz happens when the outer cuticle stays open and the hair pulls humidity from the environment, swelling unevenly. The goal of an anti-frizz routine is not to suffocate the hair but to keep the cuticle smooth and satisfied.
Start in the shower. Use a sulphate-free, glycerin-light cleanser and follow with a slip-heavy conditioner that you comb through with your fingers. Rinse with cool water to encourage the cuticle to lie flat.
On soaking wet hair, layer a leave-in cream followed by a lightweight oil, using the classic liquid-cream-oil method. This locks water inside the strand before the air can steal it.
Diffuse on low heat or air dry without touching. Every time you disturb drying hair you reopen the cuticle. Once dry, a single pump of serum smoothed over the surface is your humidity shield for the day.
“Frizz is not a flaw to fight, it is a signal that your cuticle needs sealing.”
