Senior Stylist | On-Demand Hair Consultations
Senior Stylist is an on-demand, message-based hair consultation subscription service. You message certified senior stylists worldwide for personalised guidance on hair care, colour, styling and scalp health, from your phone. There is no salon appointment and no travel.
How much does Senior Stylist cost?
A subscription is £12 per month. It includes two message-based consultations, five hairstyle try-ons, Style DNA product recommendations, an Event Planner and a full Style DNA analysis. Payments are handled securely by Stripe and you can cancel any time.
How long does a consultation take?
Consultations last a maximum of 10 minutes, and most last just a few minutes. You message your matched stylist, share photos, and get clear, tailored advice quickly.
Are the stylists qualified?
Yes. Every stylist is a vetted professional holding at least NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, with a minimum of five years of salon experience. There are no juniors or apprentices.
How does it work?
Download the app, sign in with your phone number, complete the 15 question Style DNA Matrix, and you are matched with a certified senior stylist you can message for advice. The Style DNA Matrix captures your hair texture, scalp health, colour history and goals so advice is specific to you. The app is available worldwide on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and is rated 4.8 out of 5 from 47 reviews on Trustpilot.
For stylists
Qualified stylists earn from short remote consultations. At Tier 3, each consultation pays £7.40, so six consultations a day, roughly one hour, works out at around £1,332 a month in potential earnings. Payouts are fast through Stripe Connect with no chair rent, and each stylist is capped at 115 active clients to protect income and avoid overcrowding.
